Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins told senators on Wednesday that USDA
needs more authority than the current $30 billion under the Commodity Credit
Corp. The fund is stretched, she said, due to changes in farm programs and crop
insurance.

Retail fertilizer prices continue to be mostly higher compared to last
